Nickalaus Painter is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on teaching.  He has been a part of OSU since 2019.

Dr.  Painter earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science (B.S.) from Clarkson University, as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Clarkson University.

Dr. Painter's academic interests include effective pedagogy, student wellness, mathematical biology, mathematical modelling, and dynamical systems.

Dr. Painter is a member of the CSE Mental Wellness Committee and the CSE Undergraduate Studies Committee, as well as the faculty advisor for the Rhythm Games Club.
